Florence Nightingale Agency provides home-based support services for people in their homes.  Based in Christchurch, Blenheim and Nelson, the Agency provides well-trained and experienced carers to ensure only the best services are provided and the best care given.

The Company as a whole is committed to providing quality at all levels of care and to demostrate this is accredited to the NZ Home and Community Support Sector Standard NZS 8158:2012.  This ensures that everything we do is geared toward ensuring that you get the best of care from highly trained carers. 

Our goal is to have a carer in the home within 24 hours of receiving a referral.  Where a client requires urgent services, we will endeavour to place a carer in their home on the day the referral is received.  Placing a carer immediately with a client helps reduce stress and anxiety for the client.  This ensures peace of mind and will often aid recovery time.

With a team of over 200 trained carers who make around 1400 visits to city and rural homes each week, the agency is committed to "Putting Heart into Community Care".  The staff of the agency are passionate about the care of others.  Our carers, being fully trained in all aspects of household management, personal care, aged care and serious injury care, are devoted to providing the best possible care to all our clients.

Florence Nightingale Agency is a long-established agency which has been working with ACC and private clients and more recently is an approved Ministry of Health provider in Canterbury, Nelson and Marlborough.

We have developed a strong rapport with families and Whanau, Case Managers, Occupational Therapists and other allied Health Professionals.  We are a very reliable agency and have built a reputation of integrity and quality service through hard and honest work.
