HCHA Meeting with Hon Matt Doocey, Minister of Mental Health and Associate Health Minister, 27th February

HCHA had the pleasure of speaking with the Hon. Matt Doocey last week about the significant role Home and Community workers play as the largest mobile workforce in New Zealand (26,000 in Home and Community sector alone and around 100,000 in total across all 4 sectors). Our discussion on how to better value and utilise this workforce was both stimulating and promising. HCHA is looking forward to many more conversations on this important topic!
